'RSB' Completes Shoot

I am seeing the era of 70’s back in Kannada cinema. Lot of awards been won. Congrats to Girish, Thara and others. In those days I was frustrated with Tamil cinema. I used to rush to Bangalore to watch good quality films. Sometimes I have shifted my film shooting here so that I can watch films like ‘Kaadu’, ‘Savitri’ ‘Ghatashradda’ etc and mingle with toppers like Girish Karnad, Girish Kasaravalli, B.S.Ranga and Puttannaji. Karnataka is not strange to good cinema disclosed the reputed actor Kamal Hassan at the media briefing at Atria Hotel recently to announce the completion of shooting of his come back Kannada film ‘Rama Shama Bhama’. There will be a surprise for the Kannada audience. I have sung a song ‘Raathriyaythu Jopana Jagarane Kaathriyaythu…..(written by Goturi and composed by Gurukiran) and delivered the dialogue in the Hubli-Dharwad style Kannada. I always respect any language. So in order not to spoil the fragrance of it I am talking to all you in English. I took nearly three days to dub for this Kannada film ‘RSB’. In the normal cases I finish dubbing in one day said the prestigious actor of this country Kamal Hassan.

I owe my thanks to media. It is because of the very warm welcome you have given to me I involved so well. Here the people are very nice. The producer has given a feel of happiness always and artistes like Urvashi and Shruthi kept me on toes to perform well. ‘RSB’ is totally different from ‘Sathi Leelavathi’ and Ramesh Aravind has got good ability. He has loads of talent. If his direction is an orchestration (As Ramesh Aravind said in his speech) even Satyajit Ray was also like that. I want to come back to Kannada cinema. That is in the hands of audience. Wish the film all the success addressed the stalwart actor. The producer K.Manju has given money and freedom. We have given to the best of our knowledge said Kamal.

Ramesh Aravind the humble, sensible and workaholic multifaceted personality thanked the media for the support extended right from the beginning. I learnt so many things from Rajkamal banner. It is like an institute for me. In this RSB I have done only the role of orchestration. I know Kamal Hassan from last 15 years very closely. He has been a friend to me with no demand. Today what I am because of you ‘sir’ complimented Ramesh Aravind pointing to the great actor of this nation.

The parallel name to acting is Kamal Hassan said Shruthi one of the reputed actress of Kannada cinema. I was wondering whether I meet this great actor ever in my life. But I shared a few moments with him when I bagged award for ‘Kalki’ Tamil cinema a state award of Tamil Nadu in 1996. I am known as tearjerker heroine but you will laugh watching this film RSB. Ramesh Aravind is not a first time director. The effort of this team is to give entertainment to the audience. Even in sentiments you find the laughter disclosed Shruthi.

Ramesh Aravind is very good at spot improvisation. The tips he gives studying the mood is very good. I have liked the shot composition of him. For the one step he goes we have to forge four steps ahead patted the two times national award actor Dattatreya.

I came here as a guest artiste and become one among the artistes team said handsome looking Anirudh Jathakara. After seeing the rushes I came to the conclusion that this cannot be said as a remake. Ramesh Aravind made an actor like me to feel very free and easy on the spot.

Urvashi the top south Indian actress who was just moving the mike whenever her term came to speak finally complemented the caliber of actor cum director Ramesh Aravind. He may director more and more films but I have been in his first film is what makes me feel happy said the actress.

Daisy Boppanna informed that it is a big honor to act in this team and she had learnt a lot. I am amateur compared to all these top artistes in acting she admitted.

I am happy for the presence of great actor Kamal Hassan. Without confusion and trouble the film has been completed. I want Kamalji in more of my films. He has delivered the Hubli language with lot of effort. Ramesh is highly talented. The film has completed dubbing and we have plans to release this film in September informed producer K.Manju.
