Ramesh Aravind is an Actor, Director, Writer, Producer, TV Show Host and an acknowledged Mr. Nice of the South Indian movie industry. A man who endeared himself to cine goers through his intense acting, soulful eyes, impressive body language and friendly nature.
His father P.A Govindachari started his career as an accountant and turned small scale industrialist, and his mother G. Saroja is a home maker. Ramesh did his schooling at Sri Kumaran's children's home, and National High School, and completed his college studies at National College, and U.V.C.E Bangalore.
Intelligent and studious, Ramesh was able to juggle between studies and arts during his students days. He was good at debate, essay writing, acting, and a rank student as well. He stood seventh in the Karnataka state SSLC examination and was a distinction student in mechanical engineering. He won numerous prizes for skits, mime, debates etc. He began his television career with the programme "Parichaya" in Doordarshan that brought him instant success and drew the attention of filmmakers.
